About Pop-Up Opera
The mission of Pop-Up Opera is to bring professional performances of some of the most beautiful classical and pop-opera music to places where you would least expect it. Similarly to the Knight Foundation's "Random Acts of Culture" initiative, Pop-Up Opera is motivated by a strong belief in the potential of the arts to engage residents and bring communities together. Hearing a performance of Bizet, Puccini or contemporary pop-opera music in an unexpected place provides a deeply felt reminder of how classical music can enrich our lives.
Pop-Up Opera as sonic beautification of public (and private) spaces is currently on tour. To find out when Cristine Seeber will be in your area, join her on Facebook.
